Norfolk Gypsy ‘Turaco’ is a lovely example of this craft and is being offered for sale at an incredible price.

She was completely refurbished in 2019, with her topsides being professionally resprayed in the classic ‘Sky Blue’. The engine was removed from the boat and reconditioned with a new alternator being installed together with new batteries. Turaco had been moored and sailed for a couple of seasons on The Broads, she was recovered from there in Jan 2023 and has been in storage here at the yard for the last couple of years.

Turaco has a BSS certificate which was issued in April 2021 and an impressive inventory of additional kit including the mounted stainless steel boarding ladder which is great for swimming from the boat in the summer. The brass spun oil lamps in the cabin create a cosy and timeless glow during those summer evening camping onboard and with her mud weights and traditional plough anchor, Turaco is kitted out for exploration of either The Broads or coastal areas.

This is reluctant sale by the owners who are open to taking an offer. Turaco will be a great boat for a keen sailor with a good eye for a bargain.
