Norfolk Oyster ‘Hazel’
Norfolk Oyster ‘Hazel’ is boat No. 113 and was built in 1996. She is in good condition, having been owned and looked after by the same family since 2010. She comes with a galvanised break-back road trailer, which the owner has recently serviced, and a Yamaha Malta outboard engine. Hazel is quite unique as she has no teak slatted seat battens in the cockpit and sole, this reduces annual servicing costs and timings, making Hazel a relatively easy boat to care for. She also has no cave lockers and these can be retro fit if desired.

Norfolk Oyster 37 Catcher is on the market and is being sold with her galvanised brake back trailer and 4hp engine. This is a great example of the Norfolk Oyster that has been lovingly looked after by her current owners. She has been trailer sailed from Morston and further afield, garnering much admiration where ever she has been sailed. Her Mariner 4hp outboard engine was new in 2021 and is perfect for those moments when not under sail. The bigger 4hp engine gives you more power for the bigger spring tides or when taking friends and family on the water.

Norfolk Oyster - Boat No. 28
Oyster 28 ‘Wildcat’ is in great condition and looking for a new owner. She was built in 1990, has a British Racing Green top strake with white topsides and a gray interior.
She has been well maintained by the owner and has had regular servicing by our yard with the last professional winter service completed by us in December 2022.
Wildcat also has a good inventory which includes a galvanised road trailer, Yamaha Malta 4HP outboard. In April 2022 the owners furnished Wildcat with a new genoa (with window), new mainsail and new cockpit cover. The genoa is attached via the Furlex 50s self furling gear which was also new in 2022.
In 2011 we carried out a professional internal re-spray of the gel coat surfaces.
In 2018, as part of the winter servicing on Wildcat, we professionally resprayed the top strake. The centreboard and tabernacle were shot blasted and galvanised.
In December 2022 we professionally serviced the boat and the break back trailer, complete with new wheel and tyre.

After being serviced by NTB for many years and having a full overhaul around 5 years ago, including top-strake and interior respray using the latest 2 part epoxy based marine paint, Snowgoose is now on the market.

Norfolk Oyster Feochan
Feochan is a Gaelic word meaning gentle breeze, and an apt name for this Norfolk Oyster that has been sailed in the light breezes on a Scottish loch. Feochan has been much loved by her current owner and he has had her refurbished so that she is in the very best condition for her new owners. As we ll as the standard works, we at NTB have completed the following:
● Hard compound polish both internally and externally followed by the application of a marine wax to restore the condition to good and protectfrom UV damage
● Mast stripped back to bare wood, sanded through the paper grades 80 -240 grit and
four coats of primer applied (with sanding between coats) before having two top
coats of varnish applied.
● Aft cover fixing removed and refixed.
● Coveline removed and replaced with new
● Rudder stock stripped back to bare wood and sanding between paper grades 80 – 240 grit and then four coats of primer applied with sanding between coats, followed
by two top coats of varnish● Rudder uphaul removed and replaced with new.
● Sail cover replaced with new
● Tiller sanding and top coating with varnish.
● Boom gallows stripping back to bare wood and treating with four coats of teak oil.
● TCL4 hatches replaced with new.
● The mainsail sent away to be valeted and to have tiny hole professionally repaired
● Boom and gaff stripped back to bare wood and sanded back through paper grades 80
to 240 grit, followed by four coats of primer (with sanding between coats) and two top
coats of varnish.
● The gaff jaws sanded and repaired
● The seat battens, rubbing strake and centre capping sanded back through the paper
grades 80 – 240 grit and four coats of oil applied.
● Bilge pump serviced with newBefore Feochan leaves the yard she will be given a complementary coat of antifouling.
Feochan is ready to sail away for the 2025 season and we, at NTB, can offer free winter storage to anyone wishing to purchase her now.

Norfolk Oyster 'Tread Lightly'
Norfolk Oyster ‘Tread Lightly’ is a great example of the fleet. She’s in great condition and has only had two previous owners. She has an impressive pedigree, winning The Oyster World Championships many times as well as several races down on the Orwell. Tread Lightly has been moored and sailed in Wells harbour since 2022 by her current owner. She has also been professionally maintained each season here at NTB. She is being sold as the current owner doesn’t have time to sail due to charity and community commitments.
Tread Lightly has been copper coating, thus reducing the annual maintenance costs. She also comes with a Honda BF4 outboard new in 2022 which has been professionally winterised and serviced each year and run on Aspen fuel.
